For the second year in a row, AKIMI was proud to be a partner and sponsor of the CD Baby “DIY Musician Conference” in Austin, Texas (August 16-19, 2019). AKIMI hosted a panel on building music support systems in isolated regions, got Alaskan artists one-on-one mentoring time with professionals for career advice, and best of all, presented a showcase of fifteen Alaskan musicians in a stellar lineup to a packed house at Cheer Up Charlie’s bar in downtown Austin.
