ALASKANS ON SPOTIFY AND BANDCAMP

In 2018, AKIMI created the Alaska Music Channel playlist on Spotify. In 2019, we created The Alaskans Have Landed mixtape and CD on Bandcamp. In 2022, we started the MusicAlaska Playlist Project. We are working on creating a listenable library of great Alaskan music, so that it’s easy to discover and stream artists new and old.

AKIMI has a vision of Alaskan businesses and tourism groups playing Alaskan artists in shops, buses, waiting rooms, and restaurants. The Made In Alaska brand isn’t just for souvenirs — it’s for music, too!

In the past, AKIMI teamed up with global digital music distributor CD Baby to distribute a promotional newsletter about the Alaska Music Channel Spotify playlist to an audience of over 200,00 readers. It captured a lot of listeners, and we hope you’ll become one of them. Our playlists keep growing as we add artists new and old.
